A flammable liquid is a liquid with a flashpoint of not more than 60.5°C or any material in a liquid phase with a flashpoint at or above 37.8°C that is intentionally heated and offered for transportation or transported at or above its flashpoint in bulk packaging. Flammable liquids are capable of posing serious hazards due to their volatility, combustibility and potential in causing or propagating severe conflagrations.
