Spill Response Training

If you have invested in Spill Kits and secondary equipment you’re on your way to achieving compliance. WHS Regulations Section 4, Regulation 379 requires organisations to provide adequate training and information to understand the hazards and to control and manage hazardous Spill incidents. Silverback offers 3 levels of Spill Response Training to help your organisation achieve and maintain compliance. Session Options:
  • Toolbox session to provide an introduction to Spill Kits features and their contents.
    • Session duration 15 – 20mins
    • Great for employee inductions
  • Level 1 provides a comprehensive 5 Step approach to Spill Response Management, explanation of kit features, contents and application and simulated Spill clean-up.
    • Session duration 60-70mins
    • Great for employees responsible for attending Spill Incidents
  • Level 2 provides the same content as Level 1 and incorporates your organisations Incident Management policy and procedures.
    • Session duration approximately 120mins
    • Designed for Emergency Response and First Responders
    • Planning and practical steps in responding to spill incidents
