The 75mm x 200mm Bilge Socks are designed for removing oil and oil-based products from the surface of Bilge Sump Tanks. They can be easily lowered into water-based liquid, float on the surface and remain buoyant even when full, without leaching the contaminants out. White in colour, they are easily identifiable for oil-based fluids and clearly show the saturation level during and after use.
The 75mm x 200mm sized Bilge Sock is perfect for soaking up unwanted oil and oil-based fluids, including lubricants and fuels in bilges, sumps and tanks, leaving only the water behind. They are hydrophobic (resist water) and filled with a highly absorbent polypropylene filter encased with Heavy-Duty shade cloth with anchoring rope.
