A safer way to deal with Mercury spills "Mercsorb" Amalgamation powder was developed to make cleaning mercury spills from work surfaces, floor cracks and other hard to reach areas easier and safer. This is accomplished through converting the elemental mercury into an amalgam, which ceases the emission of dangerous mercury vapours from being emitted.
