Following Level 1, the training provided at Level 2 is designed for the company's Emergency Response Manager and First Responders. The course reinforces the policies set by management, incorporates the Company Spill Plan instructions and covers the theory, planning and practical steps in responding to spill events. The course moves the team into planning for spill contingencies and includes simulation exercises in handling spill incidents.

Level 2 - Spill Response Training sessions include the following components:

Initial Responses to a spill incident.
Company Spill Response procedures and actions (where applicable).
Spill Team Development and Actions.
Available resources, equipment, spill kits etc.
Safety equipment and personnel protection.
Practical steps in clean-up techniques and use of resources.
Disposal and remediation obligations and procedures.
Follow-up and reporting requirements.
Spill simulation exercise, including practical training in using spill response kits and resources.
Includes a certificate of attendance.

Duration is approx. 2 hours.
