Viper earmuffs are Class 5, SLC80, 26dB rated and ideal for general use, and they provide hearing protection for noise levels up to 110dB(A). The solid, lightweight ear cup construction has high-quality ear cushions, with the inner foam and headband cushions providing comfort during long days of use. It has a low clamping force which applies minimum pressure while maintaining a tight, snug seal making them ideal for construction, fabrication, grinding, manufacturing and even mowing and maintenance.

Three position headband (over the head, behind the head and under the chin) allows the earmuffs to be worn comfortably with other safety gear, such as hard hats, respirators, safety glasses and visors.

Standards Certified to:

AS/NZS 1270:2002 Acoustic Hearing Protectors - Class 5 SLC8026dB. When selected, used & maintained as specified in AS/NZS 1269, this protector may be used in noise up to 110dB(A), assuming an 85dB(A) criterion. A lower measure may require a higher protector class.

Care Instructions:

It is recommended that cushions be wiped clean each day at the end of use. Inspect regularly for damage, deterioration or hardening. Replace before further use. Proper maintenance is vital for the sustained performance of noise reduction equipment.

Clean cushions & liners regularly using warm soapy water. Dry before use. Replace the hygiene kit/cushions should they show signs of deterioration or hardening.
