Class 5.2 organic peroxide substances contain carbon (organic) structures linked by a double oxygen bond (peroxide). Thus the fuel and the oxygen are together in the same molecule, making them even more liable to ignition than a separate combustible material.
Eg: Hydrogen Peroxide, Benzol Peroxide, Methyl Ethyl Ketone Peroxide.
Class 5.2 Organic Peroxide labels are designed to stick to Emergency Information Panels (EIP's), shipping containers, IBC's and hazardous gas substances stored or transported.
ADGC sets out the technical requirements for the transporting of Dangerous Goods. Silverback stocks a wide range of class signs, hazardous labels and placards specifically for the labelling and identification of dangerous goods. Silverback Class 5.2 Organic Peroxide labels comply with ADGC compliance and standards, helping your company follow the chain of responsibility.
Please visit the Australian Dangerous Goods Code for more information in your States and Territories about Class 5.2 Organic Peroxide
