Open-Flange Metal Seals are a heavy-duty version of snap-on seals. They are used on steel strapping when the application requires high joint strength. Open Seals have one side that is open all the way and another that is partially closed. This design allows them to be sturdier than snap-on seals while eliminating pre-threading.
